The preparation and maintenance of hop plantations is the basis for all further tasks in the hop production process. Because of that, Hmezad is always available to hop-growers to give advice on the production, as well as the full range of materials required for the construction of hop trellis.

ROPES FOR THE SUPPORT OF CLIMBERS
We can provide you with various ropes that you can use to support your hop plantation, bean crop, tomatoes and other climbers:
Polypropylene ropes:
- TYPE 1000 in TYPE 1200
- monofilament rope
We also offer 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable natural rope materials:
- BioTHOP rope is made from polylactic acid (PLA) with a certificate of biodegradability/compostability, developed by partners in cooperation with the Institute for hops and brewing Slovenia (Project LIFE BioTHOP – life-biothop.eu)
- Sisal rope
- Cellulose rope
- Coconut rope
